ANZAC Day

Laying a wreath on behalf of OLD School at the Gaythorne RSL Commemorative service.

ANZAC Day holds a profound significance for our school community, as so many of our families have strong ties to the Defence Force. The ANZAC Day liturgy was a beautiful reminder of the values of courage, sacrifice, and service that resonate deeply with our community. From the respectful participation of our Defence students to the heartfelt performances by our school choir, every moment reflected the spirit of ANZAC and allowed us to honour the legacy of those who have served.

We had a visit of the Hawkei vehicles to our school during the week of ANZAC Day. This incursion provided our students with an enriching and meaningful experience, allowing them to learn about the vehicles, their purpose, and the vital roles they play during active duty.

Our Lady of Dolours School participated in the commemorative service of the Gaythoure RSL on ANZAC morning. This is an annual representation and our school community once again turned out  proudly.
