The BCE strategic plan sets our direction for the next four years. Under the three themes of Strong Catholic Identify, Excellent Learning and Teaching, and Wellbeing, it identifies our aspirations and outlines the strategies for achieving these.

QCEC Policy on School Renewal
All Catholic schools in Queensland will engage in systematic renewal processes that strengthen the capacity of Catholic schools to effectively address their purposes and mission.
Annual Improvement Plan 2026
Each year, Our Lady of Dolours School develops an Annual Improvement Plan and Explicit Improvement Agenda to guide continuous school improvement and educational excellence.
These plans:
- identify key improvement priorities
- outline actions and strategies across the year
- include consultation and engagement with staff, the Parents and Friends Association (P&F), and the School Board.
Together, these plans guide our commitment to educational excellence, continuous improvement and student success.
