National Day of Action against bullying and violence was held on 16 March, 2018. Our Lady of Dolours School was united with Australian schools to recognise this special day. At OLD, a special point was made: that while the day itself was important in raising awareness, our commitment to treating others well should happen every day. We are very intentional about this, ensuring that every day, the children in our care, are exposed to the many levels of positive language and culture we have established in our community. These words are not there to fill wall space but rather to inspire, to be spoken about and acted on.
“Orange provides a powerful, visually compelling expression of solidarity,” said Paula Goldberg, Executive Director of PACER Center. We wore orange!
