On 11 May our Year Two children met with Father Lucius at the Church to discuss how they can be Stewards of God’s creation. As part of this unit, the children were considering what the sacred objects in the Church are, and why are they considered sacred? This was a lovely time for the students to ask questions of Father about the Church and see examples of sacred objects. They were then able to see into the Sacristy, look more closely at the Baptismal Font and the Confessional room.
Thank you to Father Lucius for his patience and time he spent with the students; they enjoyed the opportunity to talk and learnt more about the Church.
