Back to School

In Week 6, Term 2, 2020 We were able to all return to school after Alternative Education Provision brought about by the COVID-19 lockdown! Our teachers and other staff met us at the gate with a very special welcome. We could see they missed us!

It felt like the first week of school all over again. As a result, Year 4 participated in some Class Building activities. We were focussed on getting along, problem solving and good communication...as well as having a lot of fun! We had to create origami boxes, untie a human knot, lift a hula hoop with one finger, pass a hula hoop through the circle, talk about emotions, describe a good classmate and the perfect classroom, make a square with a rope while blindfolded, and make the tallest, sturdiest structure from toothpicks and marshmallows.

Our prize was to watch one of the all-time greatest movies about teamwork...Cool Runnings. We learnt a lot about each other!
