Assembly

Morning Assembly: Monday - Friday 8.30am

Each morning the school gathers briefly as a community to pray the school prayer and be informed of any messages that relate to the school day or week ahead.

Student Led Assembly:  Mondays 2:00-2.45pm

Assembly is lead by Year 7 student leaders. It includes the National Anthem, School Song, School Prayer, Welcome to Country, Active Travel, Birthdays. Optional items include: Musical items, Student awards, Student reports, Parent news, Debates.

Friday Prayer Assembly: 2.30-3.00pm

Each Friday afternoon our community gathers and is led in prayer by one of the classes. This is a perfect way to wrap up our week and, even more so, that we celebrate the achievements of students with the presentation of Kid in the Crest awards following the prayer liturgy.

Swimming: Term 1 (Years 1 - 7)

Swimming lessons are held weekly in Term 1 at Ferny Hills pool. Coaching is undertaken by instructors from the pool. Children travel to and from the pool by bus. All costs associated with swimming lessons are covered in student fees and levies.

Swimming times 2013 - Friday 15 February - Friday 22 March

Years 1 and 3 - 9.00am
2P and 2K - 9.45am
Years 4 and 5 - 10.30am
Year 6 and 7 - 11.15am

Swim caps must be worn at all times. No jewellery or watches are to be worn. Towel, togs, swim cap, thongs and sunscreen are required. Sunscreen must be brought to school and applied before leaving for the pool. All children must wear a sun safe swim shirt or a T-shirt as a requirement of our school Sun Safe Policy.
