Year 2 will be celebrating their learning in Geography by engaging in a ‘World Travel Day’. They will have the opportunity to listen to a Travel Agent speak about their job in addition to places and reasons people travel.
Throughout the day children will participate in a variety of activities from different countries around the world. If you would be available to help, or you have a particular background that you are willing to share, that would be wonderful! If I have a large number of volunteers I will draw names out of a hat.
For the day, I ask that children come dressed to represent a different country. This does not have to be where your family is from and should not cause any stress!
